When we started the process of building a home, I quickly learned how information provided by the builder is limited and "real life" examples of all the optional upgrades and features even less common.  I researched all I could while we were making our initial decisions, but realized resources were also limited online.  Hopefully, I can contribute to the resources available by blogging about my experience.  During my research, I came across a lot of great resources on blogspot.com.
